Unhappy Problem With Viewing Graphics On Monitor

I'M HAVING TROUBLE SEEING THE GRAPHICS ON THE MONITOR. I DIDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEM WITH COPIES MADE BEFORE I UPGRADED TO 2-310. ANY COPIES I MADE AFTER I UPGRADED TO 2.310 WILL NOT PLAY.

IT SHOWS AN ERROR READ TOC COMMAND FAILED ON DEVICE 0:00 ILLEGAL COMMAND REQUEST O4H 00H O2H 05H 24H OOH.

EVEN THE MUSIC BACKGROUND WILL NOT PLAY ON MY CD PLAYER . I CANNOT GET ANY RESPONDS IN ANY WAY, BUT THE MUSIC AND LYRICS SHOW UP GREAT ON MY PIONEER V-10 TWIN TRAY. AS A SAID ANY COPIES I MADE BEFORE I UPGRADED TO 2.310 WILL PLAY GREAT ON MICROSTUDIO.

ALSO I AM USING VERBATIM CDR'S WHICH I HAVE ALWAYS USED.

For some reason when you are getting the Read TOC command failed your drive is not able to read the CD. You might want to try to clean the actual CD-R drive and see if that seems to make a difference or anything.

Also, can you play original Karaoke CD's? What kind of CD-R are you using?

Thanks,

BRIAN

THANK YOU FOR RESPONDING TO MY POST. I HAVE CLEANED MY CD-ROM AND IT SEEMED TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE 75% OF THE TIME, BUT AS TO MY CONVERSATION WITH DOUG COX IT SEEMS THAT MY HARD DRIVE IS GOING OUT. I PURCHASED ANOTHER COMPUTER AND TRYING TO SET THAT ONE UP. GOT ALL THE PROGRAMS ON IT EVEN MY DISC ARCHITECT WHICH I PURCHASED FROM MTU IN 1999. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE IF I CAN STILL USE THE YAMAHA 4416E ON MY NEW COMPUTER, BUT I AM HAVING TROUBLE GETTING IT TO INSTALL PROPERLY. IT MAY BE OBSELETE. ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRIECIATED.
THANKS

BRIAN COX

LEFT OUT AN ANSWER TO YOUR POST. I AM USING VERBATIM CD-R DISKS. ACTUALLY I HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEM WITH ANY BRANDS OF CD-R DISK UP TO THIS POINT. IT SEEMS THAT MEMOREX HAS BEEN THE WORST , BUT UP TO THIS POINT THEY SEEMED TO DO OK.
THANKS AGAIN

Talking VERY SATISFIED

BRIAN COX
I WAS ABLE TO GET EVERYTHING WORKING ON MY NEW POOTER
BUT I THINK I'M AM GOING TO PURCHASE ANOTHER CD-ROM FROM MTU SHORTLY. IT IS DOING BETTER BUT THE MEMOREX DISK ARE NOT THE ONES. SO FAR THE VERBATIMS ARE THE BEST. I CAN GET ALL PROGRAMS TO OPEN THEM 95% OF THE TIME. I'VE EVEN OPENED ANOTHER WINDOW AND SEEMS TO HELP. BUT FOR NOW I'M VERY HAPPY WITH WHAT I GOT. THE OL' YAMAHA 4416E MIGHT BE OBSELETE BUT IT IS STILL TICKING. IF THE NEXT CD-ROM I GET FROM MTU DOES HALF AS MUCH AS THE YAMAHA HAS I'LL NEVER COMPLAIN. NOW I NEED TO FIGURE OUT THE VOGONE 2.011, AND I WILL.
THANKS
