Re: Hoster Up grade

Ronjr,

You can upgrade for free "if" you bought Hoster within the last 12 months. Otherwise, you have to pay for the upgrade.

Once you buy Hoster (or pay for an upgrade), you get free upgrades for one year from the date you bought it.

Believe me, 5.xx is worth the upgrade price...

kod is correct. I would add too though to be sure and read all the update information for versions 5.0 through 5.3 before you upgrade. There are a lot of changes that have been incorporated in to version 5. Once you get it installed be sure to read through the manual too about the new items/changes.

No I am afraid not. Since both use the same registration code then they cannot both be installed.
You can leave 4.32 on one computer and have 5.03 on a second one (assuming you have Hoster full version). However there are some changes in 5.03 that may cause problems with 4.32 if tyou try to transfer between the two. I am trying to get some clarification from Admin on this before I answer further.

As Dale said, if 4.32 is on one computer and 5.03 on a second, this will work.

IMPORTANT! Hoster 5.03 has a major overhaul to the Songs.mdb and Singers.mdb databases so they work better with LARGE numbers of songs and singers. Thus, 4.32 cannot use a Songs.mdb or Singers.mdb database built by 5.03. You must rebuild these databases in 4.32 for use in 4.32.

However, the KMH and KMA files did NOT change, so they can be accessed by either 5.03 or 4.32, again through different databases.
