Re: Hoster 3.2 - Song Book and BookID renumbering

I quess I'm old scholl, and would rather spend money on new discs than new songbooks. Since I have just changed my book format and reprinted 15 new books (12,000 + songs), I refuse to go to a new numbering system. I know that everything is going to mp3/mp3+g, but I have no intention to go to mp3+G or zips with what I already have on cdg. I to have all discs set up in a numbered system as far as back-ups, and this would simply make that useless, would have no idea what was where. As much as I like Hoster, I would go to another hosting program first! It seems that when we all beared with MTU thru the different versions and their problems to get to this point, then to have to completely change numbering it's not in my program!

Re: Hoster 3.2 - Song Book and BookID renumbering

Hoster 3.108 is now released.

Go and get it now if you have upgraded to 3.0. If not, buy the upgrade.

UNCLE!

We are finding several ways to retain the BookID structure we now have.

Your song books are safe. Your backed up discs are save. BTW: Even if we did renumber the BookID, it STILL would refer to a DiscID and Brand.

Fear of the unknown has run rampant here. There are so many incorrect assumptions, as well as your request for not changing, that I can't take the time to ansewr.

I am closing this thread.
