Re: Hoster Deleted But Still Registers As Being On Three Computers

Hoster.32 is correct, even for 64the bit machines. This problem almost sounds like a corrupt NVidia Video driver but can't say for sure. You might try going straight to NVidia site, down load the latest driver for your video card and install. No guarantee that will solve the problem but worth a try even though Windows indicates it is up to date. Before loading any new driver I recommend that you establish a System Restore point just incase.

Just curious,

Have you attempted to play any music or video files with Windows Media Player?

If so, what happened?

Off to choir practice... Will check back here in a couple hours.

After reading all the posts I did not notice that you had installed the K-Lite Codec Pack Full.

If you have not installed the free K-Lite Codec Pack below is a link to CNET's secure download.

Let me know what happens!

Re: Hoster Deleted But Still Registers As Being On Three Computers

stop the presses i just tried to play a song from a thumb drive importing it with add songs (what used to be index hd files) and it worked perfectly. a key piece of info i think. can someone now tell me what is going on? anything on my thumb drive that i imported works fine. but the disk drive tested fine too.yet nothing i imported from the cd rom worked i even tried using the external cdrom drive i use with my show rig and it kept telling me that the drive was not ready and i should put in a disc and try again which of course i did and still nothing

Re: Hoster Deleted But Still Registers As Being On Three Computers

i did install that codec and as i have just reported the songs even karaoke from my thumb drive works perfectly so i am led to believe that isis a problem with the cdrom drive even though it tested good and did import the files i tried but for some reason hoster can not play them. though now it simply goes click click click when i press play and does not freeze the program anymore

I had a Sony laptop previous to the one I'm using now and the cdrom drive in that always tested good but wouldn't import CD+G files.
Did just what you stated just used to make a clicking noise.
I think your best bet now if you say all is working except the CD+G drive is purchase a USB DVD+R Burner, External Mount from MTU, they are guaranteed to read CD+G and write.
