Exclamation Problems playing video files on extended desktop

Hey all! First let me say that I have had this problem in the past and had fixed it with some info I got from KenKelly in a past thread. I had to reinstall windows do to a virus and once programs were installed I repeated the past fix and now it crashes Hoster.

Here is some general info...
.VOB, .AVI do not play on extended desktop through Hoster. I can play them through WMP and Media Player Classic on extended desktop. So it seems to be a problem within Hoster?

The past fix was to download Gspot codec tweaker and changed the filter merit to the highest possible. (doing this now causes hoster to crash )

Any help would be greatly appreciated because I huge amount of my video files are .VOB and AVI.

Thanks in advance and I look forward to checking out 5.03.09

One other point, did you recheck the recommended settings to run Hoster for your version of Windows again ?

Re: Problems playing video files on extended desktop

Comp: HP
Model: Pavilion dv8 Notebook
RAM: 4GB
Graph Card NVIDIA GeForce GT 230M current driver 8.15.11.8644
(I know there is a newer one but it messes with Hoster so had to roll back to that driver and videos have worked in the past with this driver)

Hope that helps

-Chad
