STATIC on CDG Playback

I have just purchased Keyrite to change songs for a NEW YEARS
EVE party but can't get Keyrite to work correctly. When I load in
a Wav file the playback is fine but when i load in a CDG file all i get
is STATIC on Playback. Can Keyrite load in a MP3 File? What am i
missing or doing wrong. I am using Windows XP with a Creative Labs Audigy Platinum sound card. Please help as i need to use
the program soon to be ready for the party.

Where does your .cdg file come from? Is it read in from a CDG Karaoke disc using Microstudio, or some other program? If another, that is probably causing the problem.

Keyrite does not open .mp3 files. You will need to convert any .mp3 to a .wav before processing with Keyrite.
