Lite-on (ltr-48125w) CDR drive does NOT read CDG Karaoke

I JUST BOUGHT A LITE-ON (LTR-48125W) CD-RW,AND THE LABLE
SAYS IT WILL SUPPORT KARAOKE, BUT MY MICROSTUDIO WILL NOT SEE IT...... DO I NEED DRIVERS?

PLEASE HELP.........

Microstudio does find my Lite-On that came with my Home computer. When looking at Cd Burners, it needs to say it will recognize CDG, Karaoke reference is generally VCD.
