I have a CD+G disk that came with a karaoke machine purchaced from Argos in the UK. It has 16 tracks from various artists and it has "Compilments of K Zone"
www.kzone.co.uk written on it. It appears to have a UK only phone number on it for K zone, but at the bottom of the disk it says "Music By Sound Choice""Made in the USA". And it also has a four digit number around the edge: 8043. I have done a search for the disk on the K zone web site and have found nothing. I can play the disk on any CD+G machine, with the play tab in microstudio 2.314 using my Plextor 24.10.40A. It doesn'y seem to have the heavy copy protection that some sound choice diskd have, but if I extract the tracks (I have no trouble doing this) onto hard drive and play them back with microstudio, they keep on jumping. If they are burnt to disk, they jump. I tried using the Copy disk route via microstudio, and guess what, they jump. I have dropped the read and write speed down to X4, and they still jump. Any ideas anyone?
