Usb Microphones

Has anyone gotten a usb microphone to work, from within Microstudio. Is it not possible, to use like this for practice at home? If you can't, all of the other options that they have stuck/crammed into the base program is about worthless. I can get it to work thru the cpu for other things, but as soon as I fire up Microstudio I get no sound. The leds jump around like it's working, but no sound comes out of the speakers. Any suggestions? Thanks, MrD

Try a microphone that plugs into the Line In/Microphone connector on the sound card?

I should've included that I have tried a normal cheapie lapel microphone, yes I got that to work fine. When I plug in the usb microphone, I also can get that to work, just NOT in microstudio. I was wondering if there was something I was missing. Thanks, Larry

I don't believe Microstudio is set up to read anything but the Line In/Microphone jack.
