Stopped processing files

purchased 4.005 two days ago. I had a set of 20 cd-g.zip backed up on external hard drive. The first 13 processed without errors and was able to move to play list and also write to disc.

After that all files had total errors when processing.

I then selectes Write to disk and selected files to import.
This worked for the next set. After that I kept receiving import errors.

I tried other compressed files from my internal hard drive and cd's and still get the same errors.

I have all updates on my pc.Cleaned registry. defraged hard drive ect. looked through the forums. Can't seem to find a reson for it to stop working.

I can process files from cd-g cd's and duplicate disk.

files not unzipping?

If I unzip each zip file to a folder then use the disk write feature adding songs one by one, it will write the files to cd. Seems like the feature that automaticly unzips the files while importing went bad. It dosn't regognize the files so they are all errors.

Strange thing, I had a copy on my laptop and the same thing happened.

I even used different zip files elininating the idea my files were bad.

I still didn't hear back from tech support on the open ticket I placed.

Just paid for he program, don't want to give up.

The Unzip code we use is the best available, written by very seasoned programmers who understand the ZIP fornat, all its potential problems, and how to protect you from them.

In Microstudio 4.006, we are using the latest version of the ZIP code. It is more tolerant of errors in the ZIP file header. In 4.005, an error would terminate processing. We have beefed up our code also to log a bad file and continue with others in the folder.

Watch for 4.006.
