KHPro vs suite

I was attemtping to evaluate KHPro as a tool for creating CDG discs. I was hoping you could clarify for me whether I can create the CDG discs directly with KHPro only or if this requires Microstudio? Reading some of threads it would appear that is the case, but I can find no clear cut documentation. Ultimately, I am trying to burn CDs which can be played in a singing machine karaoke unit. I downloaded both demos but I am still unclear on what is neccessary versus what I would be nice. Can you please provide me some guidance?

KHP creates the files, but does not burn cd's. You would need Microstudio to do that.

Considering the price break you are being wise by considering the Karaoke Suite.
