Where are you talking about changing the Define Field Order? In the Songbook?

Thank you for your reply ddouglass In MicroStudio under Tools so data base would show up that way and import default the same.

Then you need to post this under Microstudio instead of Hoster. You can change the Define Field Order in Microstudio under Tools. However that will only import (in Microstudio) in the new order after that point and will have no effect on your existing 9500 files.
To change those 9500 files you would have to rename each individually.

I have moved this to the Songverter Help Forum.

We are working on Songverter 1.003 for release within weeks if all goes as planned.

One of the new features is similar to the Microstudio Tools menu "Define Field Order" command, but a little bit more flexible.

What KMA format are your files in... CDCDG, HDZIP, HDMP3G, HDBIN, HDCDG?

Thanks Joe.

We'll be talking on this "new feature" tomorrow morning in our Engineering meeting.

Sonverter Problem?

Also one very important problem when converting from KMA to Zip if one of the files in the source folder has a problem the program writes that file info into a wordPad file and stops working on next file. Why can it just write the bad file info into wordPad and continue prossing? A Real problem on large conversion like I am doing right now and have to babySit the job.
Thx again for your fast reply It gives me more confidence in your product.

When I went to check my computer this morning I found this error mesg on screen:Runtime Error Program:...les\microTechnologyUnlimited\Sonverter\songverter.exe

This program has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application' support team for more information.

The Unzip code we currently use has been ABSOLUTE in its handling of faulty ZIP files. Thus, any problem in the ZIP file could cause unknown situations, including crashing Songverter, which we DO NOT tolerate.

We have just upgraded our Unzipper code to be more tolerant of faulty ZIP files. We are working on Songverter 1.003 now. Expect it in February.

This will be a free upgrade to Songverter users.

I have also noted that after around 100 or so kma to zip conversions, it would stop the process, but I always thought it was somehow the file and didn't bother to look into it. I guess that may be fixed?

It should log the file and continue. We'll check on the code to see what's happening.

Same problem - bad ZIP file. This shouldn't happen with 4.006 when we release it.
