Dual Video Issue

Hi, my name is Chris and I'm happy with the HOSTER functionality, I've been working with the sofware since last year.

But this time I have a situation with the dual view.
for example, when you play a video, a white frame comes out with the image right?
However, if you play a kma file the frame doesnt show up... and it suppose to wotk like that, I know.
But since last saturday after play 2 videos, when I want to display a karaoke video the white frame is still there!!!!
Anyone can tell me how can I remove it?
Do I have to reinstall HOSTER, is it a bug?

Well I will appreciate your answers as soon as I can, our karaoke bar depends on that...

Thanks a lot from Central America....

Since you seem to be the only with this problem I would say no it isn't a bug in Hoster and re-installing probably won't help.

The only reason you should have any border is if your video screen is not set to full screen and the same with the CDG screen. Try going through the procedures in the manual for setting the screen sizes. The two screens are not the same, but two separate "windows" This means there is no way that one can affect the other.

There is a thin white border around the video screen (AVI, WMV etc). At this point there's no getting ound it. You can make it less obtrusive by having the screen stretched to it's max. And in my opinion it's looks better if you have a black border around your desktop/TV screen. I'm not sure if it's a Windows thing or what, but it is normal.

That border on the singer's screen is the standard border that frames any window.

That's what you grab onto to resize the window, and I've always been able to stretch the window so that border cannot be seen on the t.v.

At least that was still the case with version 3301. Can't speak for any later versions, but can see no reason that would have changed.

By golly I do think you are right! I've never really compared the frames to other windows but they do look the same.

I can resize mine to the point they can't be seen but as soon as I start the next song it snaps back just enough to be visible plus a little. Maybe it's a graphic card issue or maybe a setting I'm unaware of. Hopefully at some point it can be made to go full screen so this will no longer be an issue.

After you resize it how you want it, have you tried double clicking the page to lock it in place.

That works for KMA's but when you play a video file (avi, wmv etc) it reverts back to the resized screen for the duration of the song.
