Ditching Vista
I just reformatted and installed a fresh copy of Windows XP. Will start testing tomorrow and see what happens. Thanks for your follow up, I really appreciate it.

Up and Running
I just started testing and I am not experiencing the problem I had in Vista. Will let you know how the first show goes. Thanks!

 I can tell you that changing my vista machine to xp has made me a very happy camper. xp loves 1.5 gb of memory. Hopefully your experience will be as good.

Problem gone with XP
I have used this machine at roughly five shows and have not had the problem come back. Thanks for all the assistance and encouragement from everyone.
