beeps when dropping key in microstudio demo

Hi! I am testing microstudio (newest version).. Everything is impressive but when i drop the key for songs (both cdg and harddrive) i getting these intermitent beeps and the lyrics and audio cut out and back in. I don't have these problems when i play songs without changing key.
I am running it on windows xp home.
I wanted to know if this is just an annoyance in the demo? I want to be sure before i purchase this that it won't be an issue. I have this issue with a different program that I use know. Any help would be appreciated.

No this is not a limitation in the Microstudio demo. If you have this issue with another software program, then you need to be looking at your computer and its setup for the problem. It could be that your sound card doesn't have enough memory or the main computer memory may not be enough. There are many possibilities that could cause this.
In order to help you we will need more information especially about your computer processor, memory, sound card, and version of Windows.

re beeps on playing in a dropped key

The computer I use at home and for my show are two different ones. For my show i run cdgplayer pro and only have a problem with cds in dropped key.

I am demoing your software on my home computer which runs windowsxp media center. I have an AMD Athlon 64 with 3200+processor. I have 1 gb ram with 2.00 ghz. My soundcard is soundmax.

I also downloaded karafun pro to see if i have the same issue. All work well with that program.

let me repeat that every other aspect of microstudio works fine. The only time there is the beep is when i drop the key for a song.
Any other ideas as to the problem?

As far as I know the only limitation on the demo is to only import and play shortened copies of the files. Be sure you have all the Windows updates. This means going to Windows or Microsoft Update and using Custom update. If you use the Express or Automatic update the only ones you get are those deemed as critical by Microsoft.
I would also recommend getting the latest drivers for your sound card. How much memory does this Soundmax card have?
Make sure the Windows sounds are turned off as well. This can cause the beeps, etc. when you don't want them.
If you plan on using this program on your show computer I would also test it on that as it may work there better than your home computer, since you normally have more programs and background processes loaded on a home use system than you would on a show computer.
