Kma Files
Hi, can anyone explain what the above files are and should I convert my mp3+g files to them, do they save space or should I convert to another format?
Do KMA files reduce the existing file type without loss of quality? Is there any tutorials I can access to read up on this subject? Many thanks |

A MP3+G file is also a compressed format but does not have the quality of sound that the KMA compression does. MP3+G is actually 2 files consisting of a MP3 file with the audio and a CDG file with the graphics. The MP3+G may be just slightly smaller but the loss in quality is not worth it. You can only use KMA files in Hoster so unless you have Hoster you can't and don't need to convert them. If you have Hoster then you will need to import them to be able to use them and at that time the KMA is created. If you have the original uncompressed CDG file (disc or on hard drive) I would import from that instead of the MP3+G so you can get the best quality. If not then you shouldn't experience any additional loss.
