Talking Karaoke Games

I'm thinking wouldn't it be fun to do something other than one soloist and everyone else sit down and listen. I'd like to create a special evening with more participation, perhaps 4 singers sharing a song, get people dancing, etc. Dear KJ's, please share your success stories and exciting ideas to make a show more adventurous and fun.

...here's one idea that we've used in the past and had lots of fun with.

... are you ready ?

here we go.....

this seems to work better when everyone in the bar know each other,
but it will work if not also. maybe even help them to know each other

we call it "YOU BEEN SERVED", and here's how it works.
Person A sings a song thier choice, when they are finished, they
pick someone from the bar / resturrant etc... and say "Person B"
"You Been Served", now Person B comes up and sings a sing their
choice, and then they pick someone and so on and so on......

we have also done theme nights, or you can even do theme
rotations (ie: 70's, 80's, Duets, Slow Songs Etc...)

with a little imagination the possibilities are endless......
