Unhappy yamaha 8424e + Microstudio 2.312

My yamaha 8424e used to work perfectly with microstudio 2.312 in my old computer which consists of:
450mhz processor
128mb sdram
8mb video card

I just installed the same burner into my new pc which is:
Dell Dimension 4400
2.0Ghz Pentium IV Processor
512mb DDR-Ram
64mb Geo-force video card

When playing an original cd+g disc (northstar country), the graphics come up totally scrambled. In my old pc it worked fine.

I'm very upset over this because I use my new PC to DJ/KJ with and I need this capability right now.

Can someone please help me?

Thank You

You can try to upgrade your Video card drivers to support DirectX 8.0 or higher. This is one thing that can make this happen, the other thing that normally cause's this is the Yamaha 8424e drive. This could have worked fine on the other system due to the Video card or drivers that were installed.
