Smile Problem bringing cdg from hard drive to disc

When I try to bring a karake cdg back to a blank cd, it will not burn to a CD. It will pull it off normally to the hard drive, but it will not bring it back to a CD. I receive this error message: 'test unit ready' command failed on device 1:0:0 device contains no disc or is not ready (04H 00h 02h 02h 04h 01h).

I have a microsoft studio and Windows XP.

Thank you for your help.

1. What version of MICROSTUDIO do you have? Click the Help menu > About Microstudio command to see the version.

2. Can you play the imported songs?

This is a common problem. Enter

test unit ready

in the Search box in this Forum and click Go. Read the various answers from the past and try those suggestions.

Are you sure that you have the Blank CD in the correct drive? This is what my guess is, is that you have the Blank CD in the wrong drive.

Please make sure this is correct, also make sure which drive you have set in the Writiing device pull down menu.
