Keyrite error message

I just purchased keyrite and installed and reinstalled the CDROM
and everytime I try to preview a wav file it says: Sound device not found. Please insert one and try again.
I am running Windows ME and I use Media Player 7.01.
Any suggestions please?

Not sure this will be the fix, but go to your control panel, click on MULTIMEDIA, and in the Audio tab make certain your installed sound card is selected in the playback box. If not, select it and click apply. Hope this takes care of it. Please advise either way so others can help if further assistance is necessary.

Take care,

George

Hi and thanks for the suggestion. I did check to see if my sound card was selected under multimedi and it was.
However I can get waves that came with my computer under the Media folder to play. When I try to play a wave from my music folder to play I get the no sound device found error.

Smile resolved error

It turns out that the wav file I was trying to play was not the correct type of wav file needed to play. It would come up as a choice of wav files to play and show up in the play box but wouldn't play. I converted it into a new wav file using easy cd creator and it woked great.

Thanks,
Ray
