Select a reading drive

Help!!! My friends who also own a newer version of Microstudio and using a Plextor burner are receiving the same error message everytime they try to burn a karaoke cd. The message sez select a reading drive even though the program shows the Plextor both reading and writing. The burner is able to burn cd's using Roxio in media player. Both Clone cd and Microstudio are the only programs that throw the error. The drive will read cd's and play them but not burn. They tried changing the aspi driver with no success. Anyone have any suggestions??? Thank you Alan

Right next to the DETECT DRIVES button, there are pull down arrows to select both the READING AND WRITING drives.

If there is only one drive it must be selected for both READING and WRITING.

Alan,
This is the Fix that George stated. You must click the Down Arrow, then select the Plextor again at the very bottom of the list box. Once you have done this, close the program and reopen it to save it to the registry.
