Error #7 means the email address doesnt match the e-mail address you are supposed to be using to register. It could even be a typo.

You must have the e-mail and address exactly correct and it will install.

Sam, I'm confused. I found 4 attempts to install your Microstudio 2.612 yesterday, March 13th. The first reported the wrong registration code was entered. The other 3 reported the wrong email was entered.

You were entering .com at your email end instead of .net.

I haven't seen a registration attempt that created Error 7, so I and MTUSUPPORT are confused.

There are two reasons why Error 7 can appear.

1. If you have two account records in our customer database, which you don't.

2. If your account email is different from your Registration Email, but yours are the same.

There are no other reasons we are aware of that can cause Error 7.

Please try registering again using:

RegEmail:
*******@comcast.net

RegCode:
*******bc46

Please post back here what happens. It "should" register now.

I have split the first Thread in Hoster Help where Samuel first started asking for help, and moved it to Microstudio Help.

I have also merged Samuel's "Error 7" Thread so everything is in this one Thread.

Samuel, please read my answer above.

Beavis, I know Gduns well and he didn't mean to insult you. Please put you guns up. We all appreciate both of you experts and you should appreciate each other too.

Gary, all I can say is be careful when adding red color. I totally have destroyed some relations by doing that. It appears to upset anyone in a Forum.
