Bad Graphics

When I Burn A compilation At 1x Speed Microstudio says it should take about 40 minutes, but it burns in about 10 minutes, and I get a really bad copy when I play it on my JVC player I'm using a plextor PX-W4824A Burner and this has always made good copies before. Now I get a lot of garbage in the text that makes it very hard to read. Please! Help!

Re: Bad Graphics

Plextor advised me that the higher speed burners are optimized to perform at the higher speeds. They also said 1x would not produce satisfactory results.

You may have also got some bad media.

Does the cdg play on the pc.? Your JVC player may need a cleaning.

These are the most common reasons for trashy cdg's.

Re: Bad Graphics

I had the same problem with this burner. I purchased a new 52x burner and everything works perfectly. Apparently these burners get weak when they get older (I had mine for 18 months). Cleaning didn't help.
