Re: monitor scrammbled but TV works

I checked the setting to make sure that the desktop is extended to both screens and it is. I have the desktop background but when I open the Hoster software it only opens on one of the monitors.

How do I get the software on both monitors? Any Ideas?

If by "software" you mean the singer's display, when it opens on the pc, click and drag it to the right to get it on the tv.

You can then size it and double click on it to lock it in place, just like you did when it was working fine.

When you begin to Play a song in Hoster, does it go to the full screen window on your computer monitor? Or does it not do anything? If it goes full screen, this should occur on the Tv that is showing your Hoster Background (Desktop Image).

Re: monitor scrammbled but TV works

When I play a song it goes to the singers screen but it's on the primary monitor. I have to double click it to get it over to the singers monitor. I can't get it to stay there like it used to. After every song I have to double cilck it again. Otherwise, through all of George's help, I have the system back to the way it was. But there is one more thing I am curious. I have never been able to get 2 monitors to work. The top port on the computer is giving me all of the double vision that I described in the beginning of the question. Is that normal? or should I be able to get 2 monitors and a conventional TV connected to S-video to all work?

Rusty,

After you get the singer's screen over on the t.v., try double clicking on it again and see if that will lock it in place so it will stay there from one song to another.

George, If I double click again it sends it back to the primary monitor.

Re: monitor scrammbled but TV works

O.K., try not double clicking it to send it over to the t.v.
Instead click and drag it to the right, off the pc monitor onto the tv.
Then grab the corners and size it to fit, and then double click it.
This normally will lock it in place.

No matter what, I'd suggest creating a restore point now that things are at least reasonably right. Then if it should take another dump, you have a reference point to restore to.
