Importing MP3's

Hello. Hope someone can help me with this. My regular cd burner fried. I was wondering if my plexwriter 48/24/48U would burn regular mp3's. I can't get the songs to show up. Just shows cdg's and wav's. Anyone know? Thanks in advance.

Re: Importing MP3's

Not sure what you are trying to do. Don't see how this could be related to your burner, but rather to the software that you are using. If you are trying to import mp3 files from a regular or cdg audio disc, then any one of several programs is capable of doing that. I don't have the latest microstudio, but I don't think that it is capable of importing and burning discs from mp3 files. (My version definitely is not) If you need software capable of doing that, you can check into Music Match, Roxio, etc. (I think that Micrsostudio should have this feature added in, since I have seen forum entries where the admin. is telling people to remove other programs that Microstudio is not compatible with, like Roxio. But overall, I don't have compatibility problems)

Good Luck

PS. Since your entry sounds like you are blaming your burner, maybe you have some appropriate software already and just haven't probably selected the burner in prep for importing or burning mp3s???

Re: Importing MP3's

As Jahern has stated any CD drive will import .mp3 files, it is the software that allows this to happen. You just need to try some of the different types of software that Jahern has described above.
