cdrw drive not supported

I have a Liteon cdrw drive and it works fine with my other karaoke copy programs. I don't understand why your program won't work with it. I'm a little upset thinking now I have to also buy another drive in order to use the programs I purchased from you. What other solution can you think of?

Question Microstudio Demo

Have you tried the latest Micro Demo to see if your drive is detected?

I really hope MTU will find a way to detect more drives because by limiting them self to only one brand will limit the new potential customers who wishes to buy their excellent product.

Of course, it's a question of driver & I'm sure they would prefer to be able to detect all CDG compatible drives on the globe but sometimes you have to live with what your external supplier give you!!

Looking at the spec of the Liteon burners I would say they are of course capable of extracting the graphic using the DAO & the MMC Interleave mode.

Let them explain more in detail the reasons...

Regards

There is no way for our software to recognize the LiteOn drives. They will not work with the CD+G format that we use. They may work with the RAW Dao 96 Format, for making a disc copy, but they can't play a song or import tracks with the format we use.

We have this stated at: http://forum.mtu.com/showthread.php?threadid=1106

Also, this FAQ Answer gives more information on this question.
