Try saving the songs you want to put on your compilation to your hard drive. The make a custom assembly cd.
Now that didn't take much thinking now did it.

I am assuming you have Microstudio V2.303 or higher.
1. Run Microstudio anc click the Custom Assembly Tab at the top. 2. A new project has already been created for you. 3. Place the first CDG disc in your CDROM/CDR drive and close the tray. 4. Click the Add Tracks From: CD button. 5. Select the track # you want to import first, and enter a filename to save it on the hard drive. If you don't care about keeping the song on the hard drive later, make it short (I personally use "killme" at the start and delete any files with this starting name whenever I find them). 6. Click the button to execute copying that track to the hard drive. When done, the filename appears in your project list. 7. Do this for the next track on the same CD. Alternatively, you can go to the Import Tracks and bring in more than one track at a time (read the manual on Import Tracks Tab please). When they are imported, click the Add Tracks to: Custom Assembly Tab button. All the tracks will appear in the open project in the Custom Assembly Tab. 8. Change the CDG disc in your CDROM/CDR drive and do the same for each desired song, changing the disc again if you want songs from a 3rd, 4th, etc. disc. 9. In the open project in the Custom Assembly Tab, to change the order of songs in the list (the order is how they will write to the new CDG disc), click one song filename in the list (it turns blue). Then click the Up or Down buttons to the left to move it in the list. If you click the Remove button, it will remove the entry in this project, but the file is still on the hard drive. Thus, you can click the Add Track From: Hard Drive button, locate the filename on the hard drive, and add it at the bottom of the open project. 10. The Max: field allows you to select the disc length you will write. If you don't have 80 minute blank media, change this to 74. The Left: field shows you how much more time you have to go before your Max: setting is filled. You cannot add a song that would exceed the Left: field. 11. When your list is complete, click the Write CD button and follow the directions. 12. Enjoy your newly created custom CDG Karaoke disc at your local hosted show, or with your friends and family. |
