Need Eternet Answers

I still have not been able to access my ethernet card on my computer.I need to buy one or find out why it will not enable the one it says I have already.Or maybe, I think I need to send all this stuff back to MTU and just pay someone to do all this work for me.

Can someone tell me what to do?
