"No" for karaoke on Plextor
Have installed Microstudio and now Plextor CD-R. Finally got Microstudio to recognize Plextor but now when I pull up "drives found" it shows a "no" under "karaoke" hence I can't use the Plextor drive to read or write. Can someone help me solve this problem?

What Plextor drive do you have? Also, what version of Microstudio?
Microstudio 2.400 supports up to the Plextor 48x drive. If you have the new Plextor DVD burner it is not yet supported. If you have Microstudio and the Plextor drive both that are supported, then it could be your ASPI drivers. You can reinstall these from: http://forum.mtu.com/showthread.php?threadid=493 If this still doesn't work, then reinstall Microstudio.

sheltraw,
Your Plextor CD-R PX-W4824A IS NOT supported in MicroStudio 2.315. You will need to upgrade to MicroStudio 2.4 to be able to use that burner. http://www.mtu.com/store/merchant.mv...gory_Code=C001 Good luck, Jon Last edited by jaddams; April 22nd, 2003 at 02:03 PM. |

Jester,
You need to upgrade to MicroStudio 2.4 to use your CD-R PX-W4824A. Version V2.315, DO NOT support that drive. Thanks for the tip. You're right my earlier post was meant to say 2.4 and not 2.0 Here is the link for the update page. http://www.mtu.com/store/merchant.mv...gory_Code=C001 Good luck, Jon |
