Smile Using proper mp3 audio files.

I thought I'd share this info for those who may be having or might go thru the same problem I did.

I was used to using KHPro with .wav files but decided to have a go with mp3 files to enable me to export the song as a MP3 + G file. I followed mtu's page to download and install the lame_dll file etc

I then converted a ".wav" file and saved it as a "lame mp3(*.mp3)" but KHPro didn't like it and it kept crashing.

So I converted the same ".wav" file again but this time, saved it as a "mp3/mp3PRO(*.mp3)" and it worked! I had no idea there was a difference?
Anyway, KHPro now works with mp3's and I can export it as "mp3 + G" files. YEAH!

I hope this might help others. Thank you again guys for your responses, I really do appreciate it

Re: Using proper mp3 audio files.

Hello, I always use MP3 files to save space on my pc. When u use KPro it automatically converts ur mp3 files to wavs for producing ur karaoke files. I also use a program named AltoMp3 Maker that allows u to decode and encode different formats as u wish. Hope this is a small bit of info 4 u Alan

Hi Alan,

thank you for your message, and thank you also for the "Alto MP3 Maker". I'll check that out!

Cheers Alan
