Microstudio will not read drive

I have Windows 98SE, Microstudio 2.4, Plexwriter 48/24/48A, and Plextor rev 2.02 installed. Microstudio show NO for karaoke and will not read my drive. What do I need to do? Thank you in advance for your help.

Can you tell me what version of Mirostudio you are running? This Plextor drive is only supported in Version 2.400. If you have a prior version than 2.400, then you will need to upgrade to the latest to use that drive.

If you do have this version of Microstudio, then the problem could be the Plex Tools that you installed. What version of Windows do you have also?

Did you purchase the drive from MTU or from another company?

Please open Microstudio, click on the Help Menu, About... command to make sure it shows that the version is indeed 2.400. If this is the case then please try installing the ASPI drivers located at: http://forum.mtu.com/showthread.php?threadid=493

Try solution 1 first, then Solution 2 to see if these will work.

If you don't have 2.400 installed then uninstall the Microsutdio that you have installed, Reboot the computer. Then reinstall the Microstudio 2.400.

Let me know what happens.
