HDMPEG is a video format and is not compatible with Microstudio.
If it's on your computer you could try Windows DVD maker.

What type of file are you trying to open, kma, mp3+g, mp3, bin, cdg
 If it's still the type in your first post (HDMPEG) it's a video format. Video can import into Hoster but it is not supported in Microstudio.
