Importing - not getting TRK numbers

I posted this question on the wrong thread, so here's a new one.

My problem is...

Importing files with Disc ID and Track number in the filename (SC8101-01-pearl jam - black.zip) works just fine. However, if the filename only has artist and title ( "pearl jam - black.zip") Hoster will not populate the 'TRK' field in the import screen, though it will still list up to 99 files. However, I get errors when attempting to import since it can't find a 'track' number. Hoster used to just fill that field on it's own, now it no longer does, it just remains blank. The only way I was able to make it work was to manually change the filename so Hoster could read a track number from it ("1_pearl jam - black.zip). However, that will be brutally tedious for a large amount of files.

I understand putting 'Ignore' to for existing track numbers, but that doesn't work if there is nothing in the filename to ignore. Am I correct, then, in understanding that there is just no current fix for this problem? If so I will wait patiently for an update, or patch.

Dropping back to 3.316 is really the only option right now until MTU comes up with a solution.

Gotcha. What's the most painless way to downgrade back to 3.316?

Just install 3.316 over 3.317. I would say the best way is to remove rather than update.

Is there an easy place to grab the download for 3.316? Or do I just need to go back through my e-mails? I not sure if I still have the old .exe on my computer (though I might... can't check at the moment, I'm at work )

If you don't have it then you are out of luck for that. Once a new update is posted the old one isn't available anymore.
Just wait a day or two and I think things will change. MTU is working on a few of the posted bugs to release an update of.

Excellent. If I can't find the old one I'm sure I can tough it out until an update...after all, we're only talking inconvenience, nothing more.

Thank you a million times over for you prompt responses by the way.
