Hoster Lite

hoster lite still will not install on Dell computer running XP
have updated all windows updated and upgraded to 1 gb memory chip upgraded norton and did the regedit and followed all the request to edit
the registry and it will still not install
thank you Ron

The problem is that something on your system is not allowing us to modify a Registry Key.
1) Click the Start Menu.
2) Click on Run
3) Type in regedit, then click Ok to open the Registry Editor.
4) Go to the very top to My Computer and find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
5) Click the + beside HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
6) Click the + beside SYSTEM
7) Click the + beside CurrentControlSet
8)Click the + beside Class
9)Click the + beside Control
10) Click the + beside {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} (about the 6th item down).
11) On the right hand side you should now see LowerFilters. If the Data Field column is blank, then right click on LowerFilters and delete this one Key. Also make sure under type it states REG_MULTI_SZ.
12) Close by clicking the X in the top right corner.
13) Reinstall the MTU product and it should have no problems.

When you did the updates from Microsoft did you use the Express or Custom updates? If you did the Express then you need to go back and run the Custom as there are updates that will not install automatically. One of those is Netframe which is required for all MTU installs now.
