Estimated release of hoster 3.3?

Whats the latest news on Hosters next release? Will there be a fee for an upgrade and if there is how much is it? I am anxious to get it because I am getting ready to reprint my books, and it was stated there would be more flexibility in the output of the book format.

Thanks Beavis, I was just hoping for an update. That page hasn't changed in the last month. I was never known for my patience.

In version 3.3, please let #8 "DONE Prepare Song Book creates superior formatted books with less effort" include the following:

In the words of C. Staley,

"MTU Should correct both of these errors.
#1. A Change in case should not create a seperate entry in the book as text comparisons should be made case-insensitive.
#2. The program can strip any leading/trailing spaces before it indexes and outputs the rich text files."

Hoster 3.300 upgrade from any prior version will be $24.95 until December 31, 2005. After that, it will be $39.99.

Hoster's Song Book changes now remove the single leading space in the very first line. There are no other "leading spaces" that we are aware of.

The Song Book follows upper/lower case. We don't think the program should modify this. If both are found, which one would we use? We honor case so those who make correct entries get correct listings.

It is easy to print a trial book and quickly search for duplicates due to case. Then, use Edit Songs to change them to what they should be, and print a final Song Book for duplication.

admin,
not to jump ship here,
but why is there no longer the version at the top of this forum as to which version we are currently running.

wasnt it an announcment ??

i liked that feature, you always knew when to upgrade without going to MTU homepage (which i usually dont visit that often).

Do you not remove the trailing spaces as well? If for some reason you don't, could you add in an update down the road please? I must say I appreciate all your hard work!

Since there is a price difference for buying the upgrade this year instead of next year.... Does that mean it will be out this year.

If you use the side menu instead of clicking on the page links it takes you to the 3.3 page, not saying this is how it should work, but that is how it is.

or try this link directly: http://www.mtu.com/support/hoster-versions.htm

Smile Hoster 3.300 is RELEASED!

3.300 released on 12/19/05.

It took a LOOOOONG time to get all the pages upgraded. Also, with our new store, our web master had to move the download files... and he delayed it 18 hours after I submitted them.

The web site is now updated as to the Demo,Hoster, and Hoster Lite 3.300.

Version 3.120 is no longer available and all links should now go to 3.300 versions.

I'm working on upgrading the http://mtu.com/basics/karaoke-hoster.htm and http://mtu.com/basics/karaoke-hosterlite.htm sales pages with new images. It will be tomorrow before I'm through.

However, the demo at http://download.mtu.com/hoster3300demosetup.exe will show you all the changes. The Help menu Read Manual command shows the manual, and the link in the first page first panel will show you all the changes.

The new MMC interface "Use Software Decoding" found in the CD/DVD Default Drives command allows using many drives to import CDG Discs is not perfect, but it is better on the same disc tracks and CD/DVD Drive than any other MMC product we found and tested against. We expect to do more work on it early next year.
