best song book

ive over karaoke 30.000 songs and wen i make book its to many pages to be giving someone who wants to find a song its like reading WAR and PEACE ,
is there a good karaoke song book maker program out there? that makes a songbook and even takes care of duplication's of songs

hi whats the best song book maker for karaoke songs that people find easy to read and find there song i was using song book maker on Hoster but it duplicates and i've noway getting rid of the duplicates

It just takes a bit of time and effort but you can select not to print tracks in Hoster.
If you use Hosters edit dialog and choose to view in multiple mode you can enter a wild card * for Find with just karaoke selected and it will list the whole karaoke section, click on the title header and it will list all by title making it easy to see if you have an exact duplicat then using ctrl + click highlight a number of duplicates then tick the box for Hide in songbook and save. repeat as necessary. when in the songbook dialog tick the box for exclude checked items and also tick the box in the right hand side for Hide in Songbook.

Some of the other songbook programs do have an option for finding duplcates but they aren't 100% successful because a slight different spelling or spacing or a comma in a name can upset them, on top of that you have to get your songs into them each time you update the database. Hoster automatically adds them when you import them.

As you have 2 threads on the same subject I have merge them.
