How do you save your song?
Just got KHP v3.010 works fine. Created a Song, plays ok
don't see any choice to SAVE, just "write cd+g" whoever put this program couldn't have forgotten this feature, or did they? |

While you're adding graphics to a song, the music is in .WAv format and remains in .Wav format until you are satisfied with your production, at which point if you wish to save it as a CDG you click on "write CD+G", which it essentially does. It writes a new file to the hard drive (saves it) as a CDG. You will now have three files; the lyrics (in your word processor), the original music still as .WAV (in your .Wav songlist), and your production as .CDG(in the .CDG songlist).
Hope this clears up some mud. George |

George is correct, this is how the program is set up to work. He is one of our Experienced users, and he is very helpful on the forums to other clients.

Once you write the cd+g and it is saved to the Harddrive, where
is it saved and can you re-load it to say perhaps edit the song? |

When you click on "Write CD+G file" it opens the Export To CDG File Dialog box, which is the Windows Save As dialog box. You can then select anywhere that you want to save this file to. It defaults to where you opened the .wav file from.
Hope this helps.

KJZONE,
The saved CDG file can't be edited. It's beneficial that the lyrics and .WAV files are both still in tact, and not replaced, allowing you to re-process it if need be. We've got CDG file editing in our future "wish list" ![]() Take care, George |
