Get an external drive that will plug into a USB port. Move all your Song files (KMA) to the external in a folder on it. Then rebuild the database and change the location listed to the external drive's folder. This will give you more space on the internal drive.
Your laptop will run best if the internal drive is less than 50% full. You can let it get down to 25% free space left but anything less than that you will not be able to defgragment the drive and the computer will slow down.
For the external I recommend something in the 300 - 500 GB range. This will give you plenty of room for expanding your number of songs and anything else you want to store on it.
