Song Book format Question

When I select to create the songbook by artist, I like the way it formats the book. When I do the same thing by title, it puts everything on one line. Am I doing something wrong? Or is there a way to format both outputs the same? PS, I have vista, but I have the hoster version 3.321. Scared to upgrade. Does the upfrade give me better functionality?

Thanks

When you list by artist, you have the artist name with all of the songs they sing listed below. When you list by song, you have to have the artist's name for every song which has to be. This is why they are different.

MTU did alot of great changes on the songbook creator in Hoster 4.09d that you may like. The Singers Database, the estimated time a singers sings and the Show Display were also added, very cool stuff! The best thing to do is to download the demo and see if the improvements suit your needs.

Go to the Support section for Video Hoster and read all the additions and changes made to Hoster. There are so many changes that I wouldn't want to try to list them here. New display set up, many additions to songbook printing, and more to come.
I don't know why you are scared to update, but 4.09 is the best so far with very stable operation, a great set of display options and great audio additions.
I would if you have a second computer then upgrade it and play with to learn exactly how you want to set it up.

trelynda, I have VISTA and running 4.09d. MTU has done a GREAT job at getting their program to run on Vista. If you make ALL of the required changes that MTU lists you should not have any problems. My system is VERY stable now. Please, do yourself a favor and upgrade. You will not be sorry.

Read the post 'Just for fun' I have more time to have fun and not worry about Vista causing Hoster to crash.
