Desperate!!!!

I put out a support ticket one week ago and I have head nothing, except the acknowledgment email that you always get right away.

I use to have 5 laptops running Hoster on 3 different registration codes. I uninstalled Hoster on 2 of the laptops so I could make Vista to XP conversions on them.

I successfully made the XP downgrade on my Compaq laptop, when I tried to reinstall 3.320 a week ago it said I already had installed this registration code on 2 computers.

In desperation today one week later, I decided to install the registration code from the Gateway computer onto the converted Compaq. The Gateway laptop was the other laptop I uninstalled Hoster on (I'm having some problems with the XP conversion on this laptop). In my attempt to install 3.320 for this reg code onto the Compaq it said that I had installed this registration code on 3 computers.

This means I will not be able to install Hoster on the Gateway when the conversion is done. I cannot install Hoster on the Compaq now

I also have a third computer HP that has the same registration code as the Gateway if I uninstall Hoster on that laptop and do the XP conversion I will not be able to reinstall on that laptop either.

Rendering all 3 laptops useless..

I use to have 5 laptops with Hoster and now I have 3, I need 5!!!!
I was going to begin the XP conversion on the HP today but that's not going to happen.

The whole reason I decided to do the XP conversions was to be able to make the 4.0x upgrades quicker and have a more stable enviornment (Admins post for a wise business decision). Maybe I should have stayed with Vista and not worry about 4.0x upgrades at least I would have all 5 laptops working.

I'm hoping someone with influence can light a fire under someone to get my problem resolved. I know there a lot of problems with 4.0x and people are busy, Maybe I didn't post the support ticket correctly and it's lost or something.

You may ask did I make the uninstalls of Hoster correctly (internet - send something back to MTU) I assure you I did. I do know that I have had problems with 2 computers having Hoster loaded on them crash before there was an opportunity to uninstall but I thought I rectified that (maybe that's the problem). In any case I have 5 laptops (no more) and 3 registration codes, so there should be no problem having Hoster loaded on all 5 laptops regardless of whatever has caused the problem (my inexperience or something else).

I'm sold on Hoster and I do have 4.03 loaded on one of my laptops (was already XP) and I love it and am excited about getting more time to make my shows a lot better with it's capabilities. I'm just desperate for a resolution so I can have 5 laptops working again.

Sorry for running on and on and on

Sincerely, Stu

Hey Stu,
MTU has been flagged about your situation. The release of 4.03 has kept them real busy. It's been released so they should get to you real soon.

Jim
