MTU being the fine company that they are will come through, and take care of this problem I have no doubt. Things happen that are sometimes unexplainable untill it gets called to light enough. Keep the faith. I'm sure they are working on this problem as we speak..... |

![]() gduns, I'm certainly not disagreeing with you, your points are very well taken, but MTU did weigh in and said they had tried these files on their computers, set up the way they configure them to sell with Hoster, and they also had the drop out. this restored my faith a bit, as I had applied all of their recomended solutions on my machines (2) with no possitive results. Why only the small percentage of people reporting the problem, I don't know. Maybe they only use one of these disc every great once in a while, who knows. Maybe what I would percieve as a loss in audio signal, someone else wouldn't notice. I have faith in the fine folks at MTU. they sort this one out.

Maybe it shows on how many people choose not to purchase Pop Hits Monthly disks. I for one would not purchase these disks because I did not like filling up my disk collection for only 8 or 9 songs with the other half used for vocal demo. Now I using Hoster I don't have that problem so I decided to purchase them. Not sure I will continue, seems like I can avoid a problem by using a different brand. BGI DADDY

another lable to add to the list
The Motown Original Artist series of disc will also do this audio drop out thing. These are great disc, with the original recording done to karaoke, you ought ot check them out if you haven't. The problem only occurs on the opening screen, when music is also playing.

Just wondering
Was checking the status on the Pop Hits Monthly audio drop problem. I know you are working on a fix, just curious if you have had any luck or about how long it my be, have had to go back to using disks and I found I have been spoiled by the Hoster program. But since importing these new disks into my library I don't want to tell anyone they can't sing off a certain disk because the computer won't read it, so went back to disks until problem, is fixed. Let me know if we are close.

Status upgrade...
I am sorry to report we did not receive Stellar's discs, so we called them. They now refuse to provide us with discs to test with.
![]() We are still at ground zero. Now we have to find 2 or 3 of the PHM discs that you folks have mentioned here. We'll be on that next week as we are leaving town this afternoon and are out tomorrow also. |
