Re: Remove Silence Problem

Also, have you followed Dales suggestions in post # 25 in conjunction with this amendment added by msmokeys.

Re: Remove Silence Problem

Did you try checking them with what Roy said in post #74?
Are there any files in the list?
If there are files listed sort them by DiskID and the top one should be the bad file that is preventing Remove Silence from continuing. Make a change in that file of some kind (add a space then delete it in the title) and Apply Change. Then you should be able to continue.

Re: Remove Silence Problem

The answer should be in this post have you gone through it properly.

It is probably a corrupted file header. Check Dales answer #25 in conjunction with an amendment in post 81.

Re: Remove Silence Problem

So you mean that for every 40 songs that Hoster processes I have a corrupted file. I dont mean to be disrespecful but, what are the chances?

Re: Remove Silence Problem

Every time you start the process you are in effect starting over, so the same file keeps coming up to cause the problem.

Re: Remove Silence Problem

I am runing Hoster 4.32 / windows XP / 2gig ram / dual procesor ive been runing The RS feature and after processing about 6000 files the Erorr Message has now appeared and i am at a stand still with another 1200 to go, I have followed the recomandations on how to find the corrupt files (*) about 150 plush files show up it in the box, so i deleted the 1st & 2nd file and still same prob. If I delete all the songs Can i put them back from my back up KMA file folder?

Re: Remove Silence Problem

Yes you should be able to unless those are corrupted too. Not saying they would be.
