Re: Another newbie

Bryan,

I downloaded the personal download sent to me via e-mail when I ordered my system to my desktop PC and ran the setup exe. Now do I copy this setup exe. to disc and then install it on my MTU PC, or do I install the upgrade on my desktop? I don't want to do anything until I am completely sure. I am trying to upgrade my Hoster software without actually connecting my MTU PC to the internet.

Thanks,
Al

Re: Another newbie

Bryan,

One more question regarding my interest in ordering the Microstudio software. If I download the software to my desktop, does my PC have to meet all the requirements even if I do not plan on running the program on it? I wish to download to my desktop, copy the data, and then install it onto my MTU PC. Do you foresee any problems?

Thanks again,

Al

No worrys mate!

You want to make a backup of the download file (and your download email with your Registration Code, Email and personal download link) on a CDROM for backup purposes anyway. Then, take it to your target computer and install it there. The Registration is done on the computer you install on, not the computer you download to.

Re: Another newbie

If you have downloaded the hoster2215setup2.exe file to your desktop, then you need to copy it to a CD to take to your Hoster (show) computer.

This is the computer that you will want to Install it on, since this is the one that you are using Hoster on.

Thanks Bryan. I did as instructed, and when running the setup on the Hoster computer, the setup wizard started. The first box that appeared stated that the setup would delete a number af files already installed on the computer. Is this correct? You stated in a previous post that I needed to make sure I did not select "Remove" when doing this. Also when the setup starts, I noticed that it listed the program as being the same version as I have 2213.3. Is this right? Will the upgrade to 2215 happen later? Thanks again for all your help.

Al
