Please Reset My Reg. Code for my Hoster Quad.

Kindly reset my reg. code for my Hoster Quad. Trying to upgrade my Hp laptop (used to have Vista and 160GB HD) with window 7 home and a 500 Gb (clone harddrive) but mtu indicates that hoster Quad was already installed on 4 computers. This Hp laptop was one of the 4, just trying to upgrade to 4.20.
Submitted a ticket march 2, but still no response. Kept trying to upgrade but still no luck up to this date (3/07 10:00 pm). Please help.

Re: Please Reset My Reg. Code for my Hoster Quad.

Did you get an auto-response email after you submitted the ticket?
If not then you have email from MTU.com blocked. Look in your Spam folder to see if you got a response.
Did you uninstall before you upgraded to Windows 7? That would have automatically removed that registered installation.

Re: Please Reset My Reg. Code for my Hoster Quad.

That is what you should have done.
If you got an auto-response then you should have the ticket number and should be able to check on the ticket. I am not sure why the length of time, but they may not have gotten to it yet.

You need to make sure that you do the Emergency ticket for Transfer Requests.

I will search for your ticket, to see if I can find it.

Re: Please Reset My Reg. Code for my Hoster Quad.

Sorry Guys, when I got an window 7 upgrade for vista I forgot to removed hoster 4.11 and other MTU software in this Hp laptop. The Upgrade trasistion to window 7 when smoothly and everything seems to be alright that I forgot all of these.

To MTU Support:
Sorry also, This Is my back-up and it is not that kind of emergency, that the reason I just used the web form.

Just upgraded this am and everything went alright. Got The Upgrade and seems to fine. Just needed to try hoster 4.20 and new video (vcd) importing process. Again thank you very much Dale and MtU Support for your quick responses.

Re: Please Reset My Reg. Code for my Hoster Quad.

I had someone else load Windows 7 without removing MTU software and I am in the same boat as OneEskalera. I submitted 3 normal tickets for my MTU softwares to be reset. MTU, should I have used a emergency ticket?
With both my primary and backup computer without Hoster, I guess this is a emergency.

Re: Please Reset My Reg. Code for my Hoster Quad.

When did you put in the tickets?
If you have shows coming up shortly then yes you should have submitted an emergency ticket for Hoster.

Re: Please Reset My Reg. Code for my Hoster Quad.

When you submit either type of ticket, don't keep going back and adding an update as that forces it DOWN to the current date. We answer the oldest first, so updated ones are "newer".

Re: Please Reset My Reg. Code for my Hoster Quad.

Hi. I submitted three tickets, one for each type of MTU software on Mar 14, at 1 am. At 5:30 pm today, I check the status of all three and all three had a status of "Not viewed". I don't submit tickets everyday, but "not viewed" sounds like it was not opened by MTU. That's a whole day of not being serviced!

I submitted a emergency ticket on MTU website at 5:30pm to reset my hoster only. The instruction do not state that you get a automated reply from your emergency ticket, only a email when they are done, so you can not check on a emergency ticket.

And admin comments are good to know. Thanks

Depending on how many tickets are submitted a day and in the case of Mondays over the weekend, depends on how fast they get to them. As Admin said they are serviced first come first served. Not every ticket is as simple as resetting a registration either which means some problems may take a lot more time. Since MTU only works normal business days I would be surprised if you had gotten an answer within one day.

Posted another emergency ticket, first one didn't take.

I never heard anything from my first emergency ticket as mentioned in my last post. So, at 4:40pm, I submitted another emergency ticket, THIS TIME, I got a autoreply, which I did not get a autoreply on my first ticket. Funny, the system won't let you submit a emergency ticket without filling out all the information required, and I didn't get a autoreply the first time.

I am complaining alittle here on the procedures of submission of emergency tickets. I am also giving other users out there information on this process as I am experiencing the use of the emergency ticket.

One thing that concerns me that in the emergency ticket section, it ask you if you are playing a event immediately. I don't own a crystal ball, but someone could call 5 minutes from now for a gig tomorrow, and I wouldn't be ready to play!

MTU's work hours are 8 - 5 EDT Monday through Friday. A ticket put in that close to the end of the day would not be seen until tomorrow at the earliest.

Since you didn't get an auto-reply on the first one I would say it didn't get to them for some reason beyond their control. Either internet problems or you thought you hit the submission button and it didn't take. No better or worse than any other site where you submit information.

Again MTU is not a 24 hr operation and try to get to tickets as quickly as possible. Since you failed to remove the program correctly before upgrading to Windows 7, can you really blame MTU for the problem? I don't think so. A computer crashing is beyond your control, but this was in your control. They have tried to make moving their programs as easy as they can.
