RE: Book Id not matching CDG #

My book ID does not always match to CDG #. I just upgrade to 411. I lost some of my songs when using Vista so I also upgraded to Windows 7. All my songs are on an external hard drive.

I am not sure exactly what you are saying. Could you give an example?

Not sure what you mean by CDG# unless you mean the # you put on the disk yourself to match the book Id. Book ID & Disk id are 2 totally different numbers. Need a better explanation of what your problem is.

You say all your songs are on an external hard drive, were they always on the same external hard drive before you upgraded your windows operating system ?
Also were they all in one folder ? or were some in your C/ drive in the default folder which Hoster selects when you first set it up C/MTU/KMA files.

If some were originally on the C drive and you upgraded to Windows 7 I don't know weather they would have been over written or not. Check the C/ drive folder for any kma files.

Other than that go to Tools Songs Data Base Tab/Rebuild and make sure all the folders with your songs in are listed then press the rebuild data base button.

Roy.

I would add to what Roy said for you to make sure you have done all the changes and updates required by Hoster to make it play nice with Windows 7. Here is the link to that page:
