Make sure your pan knob for the music channel is still dead center(or wherever you normally set it). If you run stereo and the knob was inadvertantly cranked one way or another you would loose music in one speaker while microphones would still be in both speakers..
Also try playing something in windows media player. If that too is just in speaker you'll know for sure it's not Hoster. Sam

i don't trust those cables that much, i did a christmas party last sunday, and i was told that they needed 5 mics, i have 3 cordless mics and 4 corded, bought a pair of mic cables, did all the sound check, everything was fine, did a sound check again 1/2 before the party started, both cables are dead, tried it on my powered speakers,dead as a door knob, i ended using my older cables...

bad cables, maybe, but bad mics..no way audix and shure are one of the best mics around!! no way
