I don't think he is worrying about sync at this point because it is covering his entire screen so he can't even get to his Hoster main screen to stop it.

can he at least see the mouse pointer if he moves it on the singers/preview display?, if he can maybe by dbl clicking it, he might be able to re-size the display, or maybe he got the dpi setting to 120 which is the largest display, the normal setting is 96.. to change the dpi setting go to: 1. control panel 2. display 3. setting..then click on the advance tab

Ok Guys all your answers are great but here is exactly what is happening....
On my dual screen( the one the crowd sees) the videos, istabuttons, i have showing the marqee and the singers display while the video shows in the center. and yes i have gone to show display and told it to hide both marquee and singer display... but it does not do that!! At the same time my computerscreen (the one i look at not the crowd) has the video taking up the whole screen and i can't do anything till the video stops. |

Computer Screen - The video taking up the whole computer screen is where the problem really is. Is the video problem only showing up when using Instabutton large videos or do videos from the playlist do the same thing? Just out of curiosity, have you tried double clicking on the full screen video to see if it will go back to normal mode? I think we are running out of ideas here. This kind of problem has never been reported before, so we are really digging to try to figure it out. I would suggest you put in a Support Email to MTU Support and see if they can figure it out.

How about. doing a system restore to where you had it working before

Yes i have done a system restore... and no that is not my problem... i tried some things today with it and played a video on my computer screen... that played fine(with windows media player) when i tried to drag it to my TV screen the video picture disappears but keeps on playing with the sound but no picture on the TV. so also when i play a video by using hoster video button (not instabutton) there is sound but no video on the TV screen...
now for the instabutton problem--- all of the videos play in the intermission space but sometimes they take up my computer screen also... and it does not matter if they are small or large vidoes short in time or long in playing time. |

Have you checked your video settings from the windows control panel ?
First right click a blank on a blank area of your computer screen. From the window that pops up click properties, then settings. Now look for the advanced tab and click that. At the top you should see a tab for your graphics card click that. Now on my system I have Gforce graphics card and a window opens to the left with several choices. Click on "Full screen video" you should see a window open with a box with a drop down arrow, if it is set to "Auto" change it to "Disable" then click apply. Now go back to to the side window and click "video overlay settings", in the box window there make sure it reads "video overlay". Then click OK. If your graphics card is a different brand you may not be able to follow these instructions exactly, but I think it is to do with the way your graphics card is set up. The only other thing as has already been mentioned, when it is playing in full screen on your laptop try double left clicking the picture to see if it goes back to normal. Roy. |
