It is the Record number from the database, not the error number. However it is not the BookID as he was saying. I should have looked back at his first post and caught this.
So that means he has not determine which files are causing the problem. Which means he needs to figure out how to use the program Jim had him download to figure out where that record number fits to determine the BookID.

If you open Hoster folder, mine is c/mtu/Hoster you should find a file named "BuildSongsErrors.txt open this and it may tell you the song disk i.d as an example this was listed in mine. (Error file: E:\My Kmas 1\EUR-17-6.kma)

Unfortunately at that time (version) the "BuildSongsErrors.txt" file was not being created by Hoster.

I've figured out how to use the recommended "mdbview.exe" software which allows the user to open the songs.mdb.file displaying the following columns of information. Once displayed, all columns/rows of information were exported to a MS Spreadsheet. The only column of the MS Spreadsheet found to contain a value of "3315" was included in the column with the heading labeled "BOOKID". Data included in the "RECORDID" column is numbered sequentially from 1 to 2687. (I currently have 2687 songs in my database.).

Good News!!!!!
Deleteing song with BOOKID "3315" seems to have gotten rid of the problem that caused MSG ===> "Cannot find the jeterr40.chm file. Do you want to try to find this file yourself?"<== to appear EACH AND EVERYTIME I imported a song.
Additionally, I am now able to locate songs after they are imported, that is, without rebuilding my songbook. Now the only time I encounter the error message is when I rebuild my songbook--I CAN LIVE WITH THAT!!! Thanks a ton! |

**Update*** Problem Not Gone
My bad! Sad to say I am NOT having a problem when importing regular (non-karaoke) CD, but as soon an I imported a CDG disk (after deleting song with BOOKID = 3315), I am back to the same problem.
(That is, error message POPs each and everytime I import a song--can not locate songs until after rebuild). WOE is me. |

Gwen you have everyone so confused that it is hard to tell what is working for you and what still isn't. Try explaining the whole problem in one post.
Add this information to that post: 1. What operating system (XP or Vista)? 2. What version of Hoster? 3. Explain step by step exactly what you are doing to import your Karaoke CDG's. 4. Also explain step by step how you are importing your Audio CDs. Quote:
Please do this so we can help you get past this problem.
