I don't get it on 3.4- but all of the new updates I do- I cannot figure out why my cpu keeps jumping to 100% it does it with another DJ program as well- My computer is an MTU durabook laptop computer- I have plenty of space left on it- I am not sure what is causing the issue- it is someting running in the background

Are you running any Anti-virus software? Some of these can cause a problem. Or you could have a virus that is possibly causing it.
Think about when this started and what have you installed about that time that may be running in the background?

Retart your computer then close Norton anti-virus (make sure you are off line so you don't put your computer at risk ) and see if that stops the hic-up.
