As long as you undock it in the Show Display settings, restart Hoster, then it should work to move it anywhere on the screen and resize it from the side or corner. One thing that will show that it should work (is undocked) is the Preview will have a wider grey border around it.

i will try that as soon as i get done importing this cd into itunes...thanks

Cool Show Display

I just read over all of everyone's suggestions....Thank you all, very much, however, nothing has worked for me! Anyways, a few weeks ago, I was able to get an arrow and stretch the display to make it readable, but now I can't do that....don't know why....very strange!!!!

Debbi, do me a favor and go back through the checklist and make sure everything is still set correctly. I have a feeling some update or just Vista itself has reset something you changed previously.
If nothing has changed try uninstalling and reinstalling Hoster.

Hey Debi,
Are you trying to resize the preview window while 4.08 is running? If so this can't be done. Any adjustments made to the preview window (and the show display) have to done when a song in NOT running.

Just Tryin' To Help

Jim

Debi,

I did some testing for you.

Let me rephrase everything just to be clear, my last post didn't sound good when I read it back.

You can not resize or move the preview window while a song is playing in the playlist if the Show Display is full screen. When the Show Display is full screen, adjustments to the Preview Window have to be made when a song is not playing. If the Show Display is not full screen (you can see a border all the way around it), you can move and resize both the Show Display and the Preview Window while a song is playing in the songlist. (Of course The Preview Window has to be undocked. )

This applies to a computer without a second monitor hooked up but with the show display full screen on the computer monitor, you won't see anything else.

If you double click the Show Display while a song is playing in the playlist the song will restart, not a good thing when somebody is singing.

That sounds better to me, I hope it helps!

Jim
